MILWAUKEE – April 28, 2015 – Dennis Krakau has been named executive vice president, senior market executive, with Associated Bank where he is responsible for providing overall strategic direction for the Private Client & Institutional Services group in southeastern Wisconsin. His primary responsibility is building and leading the Private Banking and Personal Trust teams, enhancing community engagement efforts and cross selling PCIS services with partners in other units of the enterprise.

Krakau brings 30 years of financial industry experience to this new role, working strategically to leverage his experience and connections to identify and cultivate key corporate and executive relationships for Associated. He previously held the position of executive vice president, corporate banking where he led the bank's East Group, responsible for corporate banking relationships in eastern Wisconsin and Michigan.

A graduate of Marquette University, Krakau earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and a Master of Business Administration degree.

In the community Krakau serves as board member with the United Way of Greater Milwaukee and Waukesha County, Junior Achievement of Wisconsin, Discovery World, The Coalition for Children, Youth and Families, and vice chairman of the board of the Public Policy Forum.
