MILWAUKEE – February 7, 2023 – Associated Bank is broadening its commercial banking team in Milwaukee with three new hires.

 

Keith Saeger has joined Associated Bank as vice president & relationship manager, commercial banking. He is responsible for developing and building relationships and a portfolio in the Taft-Hartley and construction industry.

 

Saeger brings 10 years of banking experience to Associated Bank and has extensive experience in the union market in Wisconsin. After his military service, Saeger worked with the Southern California Laborers Union for 15 years before moving back to Wisconsin. While in Wisconsin, he worked with Associated Bank, Zenith Administrators, Radius Bank and most recently with the Wisconsin Laborers union.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business administration and management from Alameda College. In the community, he volunteers with the AFL-CIO Veterans Council and was a past labor liaison for the United Way of Dane County. He is also on the Community Outreach Board for UW Parkside.

 

Austin Smith has joined Associated Bank as senior vice president & relationship manager, commercial banking. He is responsible for working with southeast Wisconsin based middle market clients to provide valuable solutions.

 

Smith brings nearly 20 years of banking experience to Associated Bank and has extensive experience in the middle market throughout southeast Wisconsin. Previously, he was with Signature Bank, along with legacy M&I and PNC.

 

He holds a business administration degree in management and operations from Edgewood College. In the community, Smith has served on the Froedtert West Bend Hospital Foundation board since 2014. 

 

Erin Stampfl has joined Associated Bank as senior vice president & treasury management officer, corporate banking. She is responsible for working with a team who assists clients to develop and deploy strategies to enhance their business.

 

Stampfl brings 20 years of treasury management experience to Associated Bank and has been recognized nationally for her electronic payment expertise. Previously, she was with Johnson Financial Group and BMO.

 

She holds a bachelor’s degree in science in public speech/communications with an emphasis in computer end-user technology from UW-Whitewater. In the community, she serves as president of the LPGA Amateurs Milwaukee Chapter now in her second term and has been a board member since 2014. She previously was an ambassador for the Waukesha County Business Alliance, TEMPO Milwaukee member, United Way volunteer and board member for Bel Canto Chorus.
