GREEN BAY, Wis. — August 20, 2026 — Associated Banc-Corp (NYSE: ASB) ("Associated") today announced a three-year, $150,000 grant commitment to NeighborWorks Green Bay to expand affordable and sustainable housing, homeownership education and workforce development across the Green Bay region. The grant provides $50,000 annually from 2026 through 2028.
The commitment comes as a regional housing study conducted by the City of Green Bay confirmed a significant shortage of affordable housing across the market. NeighborWorks Green Bay has responded by building new homes and pioneering a community land trust, a model that keeps homes affordable in perpetuity by limiting sale price appreciation, the only tool of its kind in Green Bay.
The grant builds on more than a decade of partnership between Associated and NeighborWorks Green Bay and deepens it with a three-year commitment. The funding will help more Green Bay families prepare for and achieve homeownership through certified homebuyer education, support the development of new affordable homes, and strengthen the workforce development and financial capability programs that put ownership within reach. Because the support is flexible, NeighborWorks Green Bay can direct the funds wherever families need it most.
"Our relationship with NeighborWorks Green Bay spans years, and it extends far beyond funding with Associated colleagues serving alongside them through volunteer opportunities, serving on boards and committees, and providing educational resources. NeighborWorks knows this community's housing needs, and this gives them the flexibility to meet those needs where they're greatest," said Dennis DeLoye, executive vice president, head of community markets and northeast Wisconsin regional president at Associated.
"Green Bay's housing shortage isn't abstract to us — we see it in every family working toward a home of their own. By working collaboratively, we strengthen Green Bay’s housing market and create a lasting impact on economic stability and homeownership access. The team at Associated Bank shows up for this work in ways that go well beyond a grant,” said Noel Halvorsen, president and CEO of NeighborWorks Green Bay.
The grant aligns with Associated's Community Commitment Plan and its ongoing investment in the communities it serves. Associated has been a long-term partner of NeighborWorks Green Bay and consistently supports other organizations providing homebuyer education across the region.
