Associated Bank recently hosted an exclusive event for Madison area business leaders, in partnership with the Badgers and Wisconsin Athletics, to discuss leadership strategies for building a successful brand.
Held at Camp Randall Stadium on May 23, the event—entitled “Building Your Fan Base”—featured a leadership panel discussion with Badgers athletic director Barry Alvarez and women’s hockey head coach Mark Johnson, facilitated by Jason Wilde of ESPN Wisconsin. The two leaders shared lessons they’ve learned to transform and build the loyal Badgers fan base they’re known for today. Ron Dayne, former Badger, NFL running back and Heisman Trophy winner, also made a surprise appearance toward the end of the discussion.
Attendees were then invited to a networking reception with the panel to continue conversations and build relationships. Later in the evening, Bucky Badger and the Badgers marching band delivered a surprise performance to the crowd and posed for photos with guests.
“We were very excited to implement a thought leadership event with our Badgers campaign this year,” said Lisa Wanner, marketing manager, Associated Bank. “Hosting these events with our business clients allows them to gain business insights and forward-thinking strategies, all while providing a fun and unique experience.”
