Associated Bank received the Outstanding Philanthropic Corporation Award presented by the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) on November 16 in Appleton.

The award is presented to a corporation that has demonstrated outstanding commitment through financial support and through encouragement and motivation of others to take leadership roles toward philanthropy and community involvement.

Stacy Stecker, director of private banking at Associated Bank, accepted the award for her and the bank’s support of Family Services and the community at large.

Stecker has volunteered with Family Services since 2019 and currently serves on the board of directors.

Associated Bank recently recognized Family Services, in addition to three other nonprofits, with a $100,000 grant over five years. This grant was part of the bank’s $1 million commitment to support nonprofit programs in Northeast Wisconsin, focusing on mental health, workforce readiness and small business development. These funds are in addition to the company’s annual $1 million in regional philanthropic giving.
