Associated Bank remains presenting partner for Milwaukee Film Festival and bank of Oriental Theatre; Milwaukee Film Checking options continue.
MILWAUKEE – Tuesday, March 23, 2021 – The ongoing story of a partnership that has weathered storms to build up the arts in Milwaukee will continue, as Associated Bank has extended its sponsorship commitment to Milwaukee Film through 2023.
After navigating a year of intense disruptions to Milwaukee Film’s operations due the pandemic, the organizations announced today that Associated Bank will remain as the presenting sponsor for the Milwaukee Film Festival, the Bank of the Oriental Theatre and the Bank of Milwaukee Film. Their partnership, which dates back in 2015, also includes Associated Bank’s Milwaukee Film Checking, which supports the mission of Milwaukee Film through a portion of purchases going right back to the nonprofit.
“Associated Bank has not only helped Milwaukee Film grow in our community, they’ve supported us while our in-person operations have been brought to a halt since last March,” said Milwaukee Film CEO Jonathan Jackson. “They have opened up our programs and events to new audiences and helped increase our impact through financial and strategic support. We are completely thrilled that they’ve chosen to continue to invest in our nonprofit.”
“Associated Bank is proud to be the Bank of Milwaukee Film and continue building on our strong partnership as we look to the future and new opportunities for film goers and the film community,” said Marilka Vélez, Associated Bank Senior Vice President & Senior Director of Marketing. “One of those opportunities provides new and existing Associated Bank Milwaukee Film Checking cardholders a one-time 50% off Milwaukee Film “Festival Fan” level membership so they can enjoy all the great perks year-round.”
The 13th annual Milwaukee Film Festival, presented by Associated Bank, will be held virtually from May 6-20. Passes are available for $160, or $90 for Milwaukee Film Members. Pass prices increase after May 5; individual tickets go on sale May 6.
Milwaukee Film Members receive the best prices for MFF passes and tickets, and Milwaukee Film Checking customers can become Milwaukee Film Members at a significant discount this spring. Through May 31, Milwaukee Film Debit Mastercard® holders can receive 50% off a new Festival Fan membership for one year. Details are available from Associated Bank.
