UPAF held its Annual Meeting virtually on Wednesday, Dec. 16, recognizing everyone who contributed to sustain our exceptional local artists and Member Groups during this challenging time.
We are indebted to the extraordinary community leaders whose efforts were essential to raising critical funding in 2020, including our 2020 Campaign Co-Chairs Tami Garrison, Justin Mortara and Rolando Rodriguez and UPAF’s Board of Directors, Campaign Cabinet, committees and grant review panels.
Tim Mattke, chair of the UPAF Board of Directors, recognized outgoing Board members Jeff Behring, Marie O’Brien, Rob Sanders and Jon Van Drisse. UPAF welcomes new Board member Katy Hook.
Northwestern Mutual, Johnson Controls and We Energies were recognized for the role they played as UPAF’s largest supporters of 2020. These companies serve as fantastic leaders in their dedication to the performing arts sector.
The following awards were presented to recognize businesses, organizations and leaders for making an extraordinary impact:
- Bright Minds Award, sponsored by BMO Harris Bank, presented to Milwaukee Ballet
- UPAF Notable Women Award, sponsored by BMO Harris Bank, presented to Melanie Booth
- UPAF Next Generation Leadership Award, sponsored by We Energies Foundation, presented to Zac Wolff, Associated Bank
- Good Stewards Award, sponsored by Northwestern Mutual Foundation, presented to the Milwaukee Rep
- UPAF Collaboration Award, presented to the Skylight Music Theatre
