During November, Associated Bank locations across Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois encouraged veterans and active-duty military personnel—customers, community members, colleagues and family members—to bring in photos of themselves in uniform, along with other military mementos, to display in branch lobbies.
This Veterans Appreciation Event included a friendly competition among Associated Bank branches for the best displays, with the winning locations each receiving a $1,000 check to present to their local American Legion Post.
The branches with the top displays are:
- Pittsville
- South Milwaukee
- West De Pere
- Howard
- Manitowoc Main
Check presentations are taking place with corresponding organizations in December and January.
The branch displays consisted of a variety of historical artifacts from times of war such as uniforms, flags, original photographs, and honorable awards and badges.
This was the seventh year Associated Bank held this event as part of the bank’s overall Veterans Day observance. This also included an exclusive event for veterans at Lambeau Field, as well as employment training for local veterans and support for numerous veterans causes. Associated Bank is committed to supporting veterans and military personnel within the organization as well as the local community.
