Associated Bank in Crandon, Wis. recently donated $10,000 to Midwest Indian Mission and New Hope Shelter, a short-term emergency shelter residential program providing up to 90 days of shelter and case management services.

The donation will be used for the organization’s transitional housing program, which is the next step in the process of stabilization for program participants.

“Associated Bank strives to meet the needs of our community to create a more vibrant local economy,” said Lori Jaeger, Crandon bank manager, Associated Bank. “As a result, we are proud to help support the Midwest Indian Mission and New Hope Shelter.”

New Hope recently purchased a building to help meet the overflow demand and special needs requirements of the emergency Shelter program and to expand the Transitional Housing program’s capacity. The funds donated by Associated Bank will be used for construction and remodeling purposes.

“We are extremely grateful to be able to serve the needs of our community through the generosity of Associated Bank and our friends and neighbors in the surrounding area.” Said Micah Dewing, director, New Hope Shelter.
