Associated Bank colleagues – Tracy Lemsky, senior vice president & director of private banking, and Tommie Preslaski, vice president & strategic program manager – were recently honored as Women of Strength Award recipients at Golden House’s fundraising event Show of Strength.
The Women of Strength Awards celebrate and recognize recipients for their demonstration of fortitude, tenacity, courage, bravery and perseverance as well as commitment to service by contributing time and energy to improving the quality of life of others in the community.
Lemsky, with 30 years of banking experience, has been with Associated Bank since 2006. With a desire to make a positive impact, Lemsky has led the way in raising over $500,000 for the American Heart Association, $100,000 for the American Red Cross, volunteered countless hours for the United Way, Donate Life, Habitat for Humanity, Salvation Army and breast cancer awareness. In addition, she currently serves on the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation board.
Preslaski has more than 15 years of banking experience. In addition to her job responsibilities, she also makes it a priority to be a voice and champion for colleagues through her leadership positions in Associated’s colleague resource groups, Associated Women’s Network and Associated Young Professionals, where she helps drive diversity and inclusion efforts. Preslaski is passionate about volunteering and is regularly involved with American Cancer Society, JRDR, Pulaski Wrestling, Family and Childcare Resources, Junior Achievement, Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Salvation Army, Literacy Green Bay and Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin.
Associated Bank has a long-standing relationship with Green Bay-based Golden House through sponsorship of events such as Show of Strength, colleagues’ volunteer efforts and Associated’s chief human resources officer Angie DeWitt serving as a board member.
“I am proud to have two of our amazing colleagues recognized with the honorable Women of Strength Award,” said DeWitt. “Tracy and Tommie truly live out Associated’s values of giving back and strengthening the local community. They are each great role models for women both personally and professionally.”
All proceeds raised from the Show of Strength event help fund the services and programs that Golden House provides to help end the cycle of domestic violence.
