Lori Teuchert, retail delivery analyst for Associated Bank in Stevens Point, Wis., was recently recognized as a runner-up for the Wellness Council of Wisconsin’s Light of Wellness Reflection Award.

The award celebrates the positive impact an employee has experienced in their own wellness through the support of their employer’s wellness strategy. Their stories share how they have been supported in making a lasting lifestyle change from the skills learned through their employer well-being programs.

Earlier this year, after her annual physical, Teuchert realized she had gained weight and had high blood pressure that, without further action, would require medical attention. Following that visit, she sought the resources and opportunities available through Associated Bank’s Well-Being Program and Incentives to turn her health around. As a result of her focus on healthy living, she has lost almost 20 pounds, reduced her total body fat mass by 29% and reduced her blood pressure to a healthy level.

“Lori is a fantastic example of a colleague who has taken advantage of Associated Bank’s well-being program and realized some of her most sought-after health goals,” said Arthur Valentine, well-being program manager. “We are so proud of her and hope that her success story inspires others to make choices that benefit their health and well-being through the resources and opportunities our company offers.”
