Associated Bank recently made a $10,000 donation to the Entrepreneurial and Education Center, an advising and resource center for start-up and existing businesses in Marathon County. The funds will be used to support the group’s Entrepreneurial Boot Camps for local businesses in 2019.

“Thank you to Associated for your trust in our program and commitment to the new business ideas in our area, as you are assisting us in making a difference,” said Romey Wagner, facility manager for Entrepreneurial and Education Center.  “Your commitment of this amount guarantees that we can put on the two camps in 2019 and continue to offer scholarships to support those great ideas that maybe can’t afford the cost.”

Additional donations have also been made to various Wisconsin organizations that support entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Progress Lakeshore in Manitowoc and the Oneida County Economic Development Corporation in Rhinelander were both awarded $4,000 grants.

Progress Lakeshore plans to use the funds for their Entrepreneurial Boot Camp series and one-on-one mentoring provided to aspiring entrepreneurs.

The Oneida County Economic Development Corporation, in partnership with Nicolet College, will use the money to provide training for new entrepreneurs as well as current business owners looking to take their ventures to the next level.

“Through these types of donations, Associated Bank continues to demonstrate our commitment to advancing entrepreneurship and economic development in our local communities,” said Dennis DeLoye, community market president for Central Wisconsin, Associated Bank.
