MILWAUKEE – October 13, 2015 – Michael Burow joins Associated Bank as senior vice president, audit director, Regulatory Compliance. In this role he is responsible for the management and oversight of the enterprise wide regulatory compliance audit program, including consumer compliance, operations compliance, AML/BSA compliance, and mortgage lending and servicing activities.

Formerly Burow served as senior vice president, Risk Management and Internal Audit with Guaranty Bank where he was responsible for managing the bank’s annual internal audit plan, including support for the annual external financial and compliance audits, and the operational liaison for the regulatory examination personnel.

Burow is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Platteville having earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Professionally, he holds the certified internal auditor designation. His office is located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave.

Kevin Zerman has been promoted to senior vice president, director of consumer and commercial banking with Associated Bank where he directs a team of project managers responsible for IT-related residential lending, payments and direct channels, branch banking, commercial banking and strategy and support projects. His primary role is developing the talent of the project management team and leading IT project portfolio prioritization within the Consumer and Commercial Banking division.

With 20 years of project management experience in engineering, IT and marketing, Zerman previously served as project office manager with Consumer & Commercial Banking where he ensured IT project delivery for projects of benefit to the division. He held a prior role with Kohl’s Corporation as former director of project management. In this role he led teams responsible for developing marketing materials across all communication channels and created, implemented and directed the strategic advanced planning process to align planning across all business units in support of the annual marketing calendar.

Zerman is a graduate of the University – Wisconsin – Milwaukee where he earned a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and the Keller Graduate School of Management with a master’s degree in project management.
