Green Bay, Wis. – October 20, 2014 – Brooking, South Dakota resident Andrew Theis recently found hall of famer Dan Hampton’s missing wallet at Marshall Plaza on NE Water Street in Peoria, Illinois. The lost wallet is part of a fan engagement and United Way donation program sponsored by Associated Bank.
Theis located the wallet by tracking clues posted on Associated’s Facebook and Twitter sites. Clues will continue to be posted for additional Hampton wallets on those social media sites until the middle of November.
For finding the wallet, Theis and a guest will be invited to an exclusive Associated Bank-hosted event in December where they will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with the former all-pro player at Soldier Field. Theis and other Illinois winners will also receive autographed merchandise and have a photo opportunity with Hampton.
Approximately 100 Hampton wallets will be lost and await finding at Associated branches and other prominent locations throughout the state until the middle of November. At the conclusion of the activity, Associated will donate $10,000 to the United Way.
Comparable fan engagement activities are underway in Wisconsin and Minnesota where Associated operates branches and offers a wide range of financial services.
Associated Bank has been the bank of the Green Bay Packers since 1919. It recently released a video, Together, celebrating the historic rivalry between the pro football teams in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.
