Neenah Joint School District receives $5,000 donation from Associated Bank for Rockets Banking participation
NEENAH, Wis. - June 12, 2012 - The Neenah Joint School District (NJSD) recently received a $5,000 donation from Associated Bank for their participation in the Rockets Banking program.
The NJSD and Associated Bank kicked off the program on April 1, 2012.
NJSD teachers, parents, students, alumni and supporters can open a checking or savings account and receive a Rockets debit card unique to the Neenah area. In return, Associated Bank will make a donation for every new account opened in the Rockets Banking program, and a quarterly donation, based on total balances of all Rockets Banking members.
"We are pleased to see so many Rockets supporters participating in this promotion," said Jonathon Joch, Director of Revenue Enhancements & Business Services Support. "It means a great deal to our district to have the support of both the community and Associated Bank."
"As part of the pilot, a team of Neenah Joint School District and Associated Bank employees met over a series of months to conduct research, develop testing and ultimately design this unique program," said Randy Weinberg, Program Manager, Associated Bank. "Without the hard work and expertise of the school district, Rockets Banking could not have been launched. If it works as planned, we expect that Rockets Banking will provide significant financial support for the Neenah Joint School District for years to come."
