MINNEAPOLIS – April 29, 2014 – Kent Christiansen has been hired as senior vice president, retirement plan services manager, with Associated Bank where he is responsible for leading and managing a regional client relationship management team within the Institutional Trust Services business unit. In concert with the senior management team, he develops and manages the client service teams and model, business retention, business development, and internal partner management strategy for the business unit.

Christiansen brings over 19 years of financial services industry experience to this position, having previously served as vice president, relationship manager, with BMO Harris Bank. In this role he successfully managed a portfolio of institutional trust clients with assets ranging from $1 to 125 million. Christiansen earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.

Professionally, Christiansen has achieved the Qualified Plan Administrator (QPA) designation from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA). In the community he serves as president of the Greater Twin Cities ASPPA Benefits Council and board member of Ascension Place. His office is located at 45 S. 7th St.
