CHICAGO, Ill. – January 9, 2017 – Associated Bank recently partnered with Kauai’s Fire Non-Profit Organization to conduct a financial education seminar at the bank’s home loan office in Rogers Park. A group of 18 people from the neighborhood attended the seminar to learn how to better manage their finances and prepare to purchase a home, which helps to revitalize the neighborhood.
The seminar featured a presentation about building favorable financial credit by Juan Carlos Callan, branch manager at Associated Bank, as well as a presentation about affordable lending programs for first-time homebuyers by Kevin Greer, residential loan officer at Associated Bank. In addition, Marlisha Martinez, founder of Kauais Fire Non-Profit Organization, spoke about ways to gain control of your finances.
