MILWAUKEE – January 17, 2014 – Cheryl Dowsett has been hired as senior vice president, director of compliance where she oversees the compliance program for the Associated Investment Services division.

Dowsett joins Associated Bank with 22 years in the financial services industry and holding leadership positions with BMO Harris Private Bank as chief compliance officer and M & I Financial Advisors as chief compliance officer. In these roles, she was responsible for developing, implementing and administering all aspects of a comprehensive Compliance Risk Management Program through close working relationships with various lines of business.

A graduate of Cardinal Stritch University, Dowsett earned a bachelor’s degree in business management. She holds the certified regulatory and compliance professional designation. Dowsett’s office is located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave.

Timothy Koeppen joins Associated Bank as senior vice president, director of consumer loan operations. In this role he is responsible for managing retail consumer loan application processing.

A 27-year veteran in financial services, Koeppen’s specialties include strategic planning, product management, new product development, and change management. He formerly served as senior retail loan manager with BMO Harris Bank where he managed the centralized underwriting, document preparation, and renewal process for retail loans for a portfolio valued at over $7 billion.

Koeppen earned a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. In the community he frequently volunteers for the Hunger Task Force. Koeppen’s office is located at 3935 W. Mitchell Ave.

Jennifer Mattson joins the Associated Legal Team as senior vice president, associate counsel. She is responsible for supporting the Retail Banking division with legal and audit counsel and support.

Prior to joining Associated Bank, Mattson was senior corporate counsel with Digital River, Inc. where she served as lead counsel for the organization’s payments business and SME on payments and bank relationships. Mattson earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Gustavus Adolphus College and Juris Doctorate degree from William Mitchell College of Law. Professionally, she serves as a member of the Association of Corporate Counsels and the American Bankers Association.

In the community Mattson serves as a member of Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and American Diabetes Foundation. Her office is located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave.

Bob Simmons has been hired as vice president, business solutions director, with Associated Bank. In this role he is responsible for providing technology solutions to the risk, audit, and legal divisions of the enterprise.

Simmons is an experienced technology professional with 15 years in the industry. He previously served as principal consultant with RM Simmons Consulting where he facilitated leadership development for senior IT executives.

A graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, Simmons earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science and earned a Master’s in Business Administration degree from St. Joseph’s University. He holds a PMP certification and serves the country as a captain in the U.S. Army. In the community he is a board member of Leadership Germantown.
