Eau Claire, Wis. – August 5, 2014 – Associated Banc-Corp (“Associated”) has announced the promotion of Gretchen K. Hudacek to president of the Chippewa Valley Community Market.
In that new role, Hudacek will oversee the banking and other financial service operations for Associated’s five branches in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls. She will also lead an expanded company commitment to the market including the addition of locally based financial services targeted to the unique needs of its consumer and commercial customers.
Timothy J. Lau, Associated’s executive vice president and head of community markets, noted that Hudacek’s company and industry experience, together with her extensive community involvement, will be significant assets in her new role. “Gretchen is highly qualified to lead our commitment to expand the depth and breadth of our business offerings in the Chippewa Valley Community Market,” Lau said.
For the past two years, Hudacek has served as Associated’s community leader, senior commercial relationship manager based in the Eau Claire area. Prior to joining Associated, she held positions in commercial relationship management and credit analysis with Wells Fargo Bank and U.S. Bank in the Chippewa Valley market.
Her community involvement in the region has included leadership roles with the United Way of Greater Eau Claire, Eau Claire Area Development Corp, Downtown Eau Claire Inc., the Chippewa Valley Symphony, the Eau Claire Chamber of Commerce, Junior Achievement and other not-for-profit organizations.
She holds a master’s degree in international management from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree from Gustavus Adolphus College, both in Minnesota.
