WAUSAU, Wis. – October 23, 2013 – Candy Thurs has joined the Associated Private Client Services division as vice president, personal trust relationship manager. She specializes in working with families, business owners, and organizations to meet their financial planning and investment needs. Thurs is responsible for providing multi-generational trust and estate planning, retirement planning, family business succession planning, and investment management solutions. She provides financial services to the central and northern Wisconsin regions.

With six years of financial services experience, Thurs most recently served as vice president, retail district manager, with Associated where she was named the 2012 Associated Bank STAR Performer, a recognition for top Retail Bank performers across the enterprise.

Thurs earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration and economics from Auburn University and is a member of the Chamber of Commerce. Her office is located at 303 S. 1^st Ave.

Peter Jacobs joins Associated Private Client and Institutional Services as vice president, portfolio manager, where his goal is to build client relationships by providing excellent service and investment results.

Serving the Wausau and Marshfield markets, Jacobs brings to the region nearly 30 years of investment management experience, most recently with North Star Trust Company in Chicago. He has an established record of accomplishment in portfolio management and research, client service and development and contributing to the professional and business success of asset management operations.

Jacobs holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a graduate of Indiana University having earned a bachelor’s degree in business. His office is located at 303 S. 1^st Ave.
