Associated donates $10,000 to the Plover Whiting Youth Athletics

Bank gives back to Midwestern communities with first quarter donations

Stevens Point, Wis. - April 13, 2012 - Associated Banc-Corp (NASDAQ: ASBC) will donate $10,000 over three years to Plover Whiting Youth Athletics (PWYA) as part of the banks charitable donations to non-profit organizations.

The donation to PWYA will help fund two new softball/baseball diamonds located at the Woyak Community Sports Complex in the Village of Plover. Associated Bank's name will be displayed prominently and permanently on the front and back of a new scoreboard on one of the diamonds.

Two Associated Bank employees support PWYA through involvement on their board of directors. Brian Strigel, Vice President, Retail Payments, is the 13 Year Old Boys League Coordinator. David Nolan, Financial Consultant, is the 11 to 13 Year Old Girls League Coordinator. Strigel and Nolan are both members of the PWYA 2012 Fund Raising Committee.
