MINNETONKA, Minn. – August 31, 2017 – Heather Kaiser has joined Associated Bank as HR consultant, Associated Benefits and Risk Consulting. She is responsible for educating and advising employers on all aspects of employment law, including compliance with state and federal laws, leaves of absence, discrimination, harassment, accommodations, discipline and discharge, wage and hour obligations, unfair competition, and other issues that arise in the workplace.
Kaiser brings to Associated Bank nearly ten years of litigation experience, including insurance, business, and employment disputes, as well as advising business on employment best practices. Previously, she held the position of employment and litigation attorney at Fafinski Mark & Johnson, P.A. where she was responsible for practice in the areas of employment advising, and employment and business litigation. Before that, she served as in-house counsel at State Auto Insurance.
Kaiser holds a Juris Doctor degree from Mitchell Hamline School of Law. She has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers for the past three years. In her spare time she runs, travels, and volunteers in her community.
