Associated Bank recognized by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Guaranteed Rural Housing (GRH) Program

MILWAUKEE, Wis. - May 18, 2012 - Associated Bank was recently awarded a Certificate of Achievement for their outstanding contribution to the success of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development Guaranteed Rural Housing (GRH) Program for fiscal year 2011.

Associated Bank partners with the USDA Rural Development GRH Program to offer rural home buyers 100 percent financing with no down payment, flexible credit guidelines, competitive fixed market-rate interest and 30-year terms.

"More than $338 million in [total] GRH funding was delivered to Wisconsin homeowners resulting in more than 2,750 home purchases," said Stan Gruszynski, Wisconsin State Director, USDA Rural Development. "Associated's efforts have helped many Wisconsin families achieve their dream of homeownership."

In 2011 Associated distributed more than $5 million of the total GRH loan funds to earn GRH certification as a Platinum Million Dollar Lender in Wisconsin. Associated is also recognized as a GRH Million Dollar Lender in Illinois.
