Associated Bank raises funds to help Lincoln County Humane Society
Partnership helps provide safe havens for animals in need
MERRILL, Wis. - October 11, 2012 - The Associated Bank branch on Main Street in Merrill recently partnered with the Lincoln County Humane Society to raise funds for the society's new building.
Together Associated and the Lincoln County Humane Society raised more than $200 through monetary donations from community members. The funds will go towards the Lincoln County Humane Society's new building, which will be better equipped to provide animals with a more comfortable environment.
"The Lincoln County Humane Society cannot express how grateful we are that Associated Bank has supported us by partnering with us for two years in a row," said Liz Friedenfels, Lincoln County Humane Society Manager. "The funds raised are a great beginning to us reaching our long-term goal and completing our new building. We would like to thank all of our supporters that donated to Associated Bank to help our mission."
