Appleton, Wis. – October 5, 2015 – Chris LeFever of Associated Bank has been promoted to community bank president in the Fox Valley where he will lead the commercial banking activities and coordinate strategy with other lines of business, along with developing and creating community relationships for the bank.

In his previous position of commercial banking team lead, LeFever focused on commercial banking business development, relationship management and portfolio management, and will continue to do so in his new position, along with leading the Fox Valley Associated Bank Advisory Board.

LeFever has been with Associated for over seven years and has 22 years of banking experience. Prior to joining Associated, he was with Wells Fargo in Green Bay.

“Chris has been successful in a variety of roles at Associated and has established many strong community partnerships over the years,” said Bryan Hyska, commercial banking segment leader, Associated Bank. “He is a strong advocate of the bank and we are confident in his ability to continue moving the organization forward in the Fox Valley.”

LeFever holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Lawrence University in Appleton. He is on the board of directors for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, volunteers with the Boys and Girls clubs in Green Bay and Appleton, and is an avid youth basketball coach.
