Associated Bank celebrates ground breaking ceremony of new Manitowoc branch
Manitowoc, Wis.-July 25, 2011- Associated Bank announced today that it will break ground for construction on a new Manitowoc branch located at 1121 Franklin Street on Friday, July 29 at 9 a.m.
The new branch will combine Associated's Franklin Street and Maritime locations and will offer Associated's full array of products and services to consumers and businesses. The branch will also feature a more efficient layout than the existing Franklin Street location and will incorporate the bank's new branch design elements and standards.
"By combining branch operations with personnel catering to commercial and high net worth clients, this location will help to improve personalized attention and support for all our customers," said David Stein, Executive Vice President, Retail Banking. "This facility will be the biggest new branch Associated will start in 2011, reinforcing the ongoing importance of Manitowoc and the surrounding areas to our success. Associated Bank in Manitowoc County has more than 125 years of dedicated service to the community. The bank first opened for business in 1884 as Manitowoc Savings Bank. It was renamed Associated Bank Lakeshore in 1985 and Associated Bank in 2001. Manitowoc Savings Bank is one of the three oldest roots of Associated Banc-Corp, which will be celebrating its 150th anniversary this fall.
