Associated Bank celebrates 30 years of serving the Viroqua community
Viroqua, Wis.-July 13, 2011- Associated Bank will celebrate 30 years of service in the Viroqua Wis. community on July 29, 2011 from 11 to 2 p.m.
Associated will host a celebration commemorating the bank's appreciation for its customers and community. Over the years, Associated has supported numerous local community organizations, including Viroqua area schools, local hockey, basketball, and wrestling teams, as well as the Family and Children Center and United Way. The branch supports the Vernon Area Rehab Center, Bethel Home, and the Lions Club through sponsorships and colleague volunteer work. The bank first opened as First Federal in 1981. It transitioned over time and was renamed Associated Bank in February 2005.
"We love that we have such deep roots in this community-one with such strong core values," said Roger Niedfeldt, Bank Manager at the Viroqua branch location. "Our employees have witnessed the growth and development of the community and have seen the vast positive impacts this community has had on its citizens. One of our senior tellers has worked in the Viroqua branch for over 29 years and I have over 25 years of experience at the Viroqua branch as well. We are proud to be a part of the Viroqua community."
