Associated Bank awards $3,460 to Discovery Center Museum
ROCKFORD, Ill.-December 12, 2011-Associated Bank awarded $3,460 to Discovery Center Museum as a result of their participation in a checking account promotion that ran through this fall.
For each supporter that opened a checking account in the Rockford area branches, Associated Bank donated $10 to the organization.
The intent of this promotion was to enable Associated Bank to direct a greater level of financial contributions to the communities they serve.
"We are thankful for the Discovery Center Museum and their supporters that took advantage of this special checking program, which in turn, gives money back to their organization," said David Larson, Branch Manager, Associated Bank Rockford.
Discovery Center is a non-profit children's science museum providing hands-on learning experiences for children and families, with the mission to create opportunities for joyful learning and discovery through hands-on experiences in the sciences and arts.
