Associated Bank awards $2,900 to the Ronald McDonald House
ROCHESTER, Minn.-January 3, 2012-Associated Bank awarded $2,900 to the Rochester Ronald McDonald House as a result of their participation in a checking account promotion that ran through last fall.
For each new checking account that was opened in the Rochester branches, Associated Bank made a donation to the Ronald McDonald House.
The intent of this promotion was to enable Associated Bank to direct a greater level of financial contributions to the communities they serve.
"We are thankful to our new customers that opened a checking account during the fall promotion, as their participation directly benefited the Ronald McDonald House in fulfilling their mission," said Peggi Sawyer, District Manager, Associated Bank Rochester.
The Ronald McDonald House of Rochester provides a "home away from home" and offers support to families seeking medical care for their children at Mayo Clinic. The House serves nearly 1,000 families each year. In 2010, over 500 families were served from the regional Midwest states of MN, IA and WI.
