Associated Bank announces grand opening of new Manitowoc branch
MANITOWOC, Wis.-Jan. 26, 2012-Associated Bank, part of Associated Banc-Corp (NASDAQ: ASBC), announced today the company's plans to celebrate the grand opening of its new branch located at 1121 Franklin Street.
The grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 8 at 11:30 a.m. Mayor Justin Nickels, fellow Manitowoc community ambassadors and the Manitowoc Chamber of Commerce will be in attendance.
"The colleagues at the downtown branch are extremely excited about the new location. The new office gives us more opportunity to deliver the best possible customer service experience, especially with new extended hours from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday and new Saturday lobby hours of 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.," said Troy Freng, Branch Manager. "I could not be happier with the way the facility turned out and appreciate the work provided by the local contractors. We welcome all to attend our grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony."
During the grand opening ceremony, the branch will donate $3,000 to the Domestic Violence Center of Manitowoc County for their outstanding work in supporting victims of abuse. The Domestic Violence Center of Manitowoc County is a non-profit organization which provides supportive responses to people who are experiencing violence in their lives. The center offers a 24-hour, seven-day-a-week crisis line, a shelter home for women and their children; supportive counseling services; support groups; financial, legal, and medical advocacy; community education programs; child care; emergency transportation; follow-up services; and a transitional living program.
"The Domestic Violence Center of Manitowoc County has been a valuable resource in our community dating back to the late seventies and Associated Bank has had a long and storied history of support for the organization, including a yearly sharing tree during the holidays, numerous volunteer efforts, as well as monetary contributions," said Freng. "We are proud to continue that support as part of our most recent investment in the community with our new branch."
Grand opening specials are available for new customers and existing customers of the bank. Customers who open a new consumer deposit product or apply for a consumer loan, home equity, mortgage or credit card by Feb. 18 will receive: Leader of the Pack book featuring Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers wall clock and a free first order of Packers checks.
