Associated Banc-Corp adds three to its Twin Cities area leadership team

MINNEAPOLIS - September 19, 2011 - Associated Banc-Corp continues to grow with the addition of three new senior leaders to its Twin Cities area team.

Paula Williams has been hired as senior vice president, regional senior credit officer. In this capacity she is responsible for approving commercial loan requests consistent with Associated's loan policy. Previously she worked as a vice president, business banker for Lake Area Bank. Williams is a graduate of the University of Minnesota, Carlson School of Management and is a board member for the Stillwater Sunrise Rotary Club. She will work out of the Associated offices at 176 Snelling Ave N, St. Paul.

Scott Fedie has joined Associated as senior vice president, relationship manager in the bank's commercial real estate division. He is responsible for assisting developers and investors in securing commercial real estate loans. Previously he was in a similar role with TCF National Bank. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin at River Falls, Fedie has 25 years of banking experience. He works from Associated's offices at 740 Marquette Ave., Minneapolis.

Sarah McCarty has been promoted to senior vice president, director of business development and sales administration for Associated Financial Group, having previously been a vice president. In her new role she is responsible for creating and enhancing synergies across business lines in order to better serve customers of Associated and help them meet their financial needs. McCarty is a United Way volunteer serving at the Minneapolis Crisis Nursery.  She works out of Associated's offices at 12600 Whitewater Dr., Minnetonka.
