ST. PAUL - January 30, 2013 - Associated Bank has announced two new employees have joined to its Twin Cities team.

Steve Berglund has been hired as vice president, portfolio manager on Associated's commercial banking team. Berglund works to help existing and potential commercial banking clients with their financial needs, and helps to manage the bank's portfolio risk. He comes to Associated from BMO Harris Bank where he worked as a relationship manager. Having earned his bachelor's degree from the University of St. Thomas, Berglund brings his client's nearly 30 years of financial industry experience. His office is located at 5353 Wayzata Blvd. in St. Louis Park.

Jon Aase has joined Associated as vice president, commercial banking relationship manager. Aase also works with commercial banking clients, assisting them with achieving their financial goals. Aase previously worked at Bank of the West. A graduate of Minnesota State University - Mankato, he brings more than 10 years of experience to the position. His office is located at 176 Snelling Ave. North in St. Paul.
