Green Bay, Wis. – November 3, 2014 – Local resident, Dana Kamke, recently found Aaron Rodgers’ missing wallet at Piggy Wiggly on 18th Street in Mosinee. The lost wallet is part of a fan engagement and United Way donation program sponsored by Associated Bank.
Kamke located the wallet by tracking clues posted on Associated’s Facebook and Twitter sites. Clues will continue to be posted for additional Rodgers wallets on those social media sites until the middle of November.
For finding the wallet, Kamke and a guest will be invited to an exclusive Associated Bank-hosted event in December where they will mingle with the Packers’ star quarterback at Lambeau Field.
Kamke will be sending her daughter, Sophia, age 14 to Lambeau Field as part of her birthday present. She will attend the event with her father, David Kamke, where the two will receive autographed merchandise, and even get the opportunity to meet and take their picture with Rodgers.
Sophia said the idea of meeting Aaron Rodgers is unreal to her. She is ecstatic to have this opportunity and cannot wait to meet her favorite quarterback. “He's not just a great athlete, but a good sport as well,” Sophia said. She is so excited to speak with him that she fears she will be “too shocked to say anything.” Regardless, she will be looking forward to the day she gets to meet the star quarterback.
Approximately 100 Rodgers’ wallets will be lost and await finding at Associated branches and other prominent locations throughout the state until the middle of November. At the conclusion of the activity, Associated will donate $10,000 to the United Way.
Comparable fan engagement activities are underway in Illinois and Minnesota where Associated operates branches and offers a wide range of financial services. The Winning Wallets program was launched at the October 2 Green Bay vs. Minnesota game where 28 wallets were hidden under fans’ stadium seats. Fans were urged to search for the wallets through a Tundra Vision video, Winning Wallets.
Associated Bank has been the bank of the Green Bay Packers since 1919. It recently released a video, Together, celebrating the historic rivalry between the pro football teams in Wisconsin, Illinois and Minnesota.
