Jaki Becker has been hired as senior vice president, relationship manager for Associated’s Commercial Real Estate Group. She is responsible for helping customers with loan origination, credit plan structuring and developing markets within Associated’s commercial real estate platform. She previously was a vice president with Wells Fargo Bank Commercial Real Estate Group. Having more than 20 years of experience in the industry, Becker earned her undergraduate degree from Illinois State University and her master’s degree from Roosevelt University. Her office is located in the Aon Building at 200 E. Randolph.

James Lynch has been hired as senior vice president, relationship manager for Associated Commercial Banking. He will be helping privately held businesses in the Chicago area with their banking and financial needs. Lynch comes to Associated from First Merit Bank where he was a senior vice president on its commercial lending team. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Champaign/Urbana, Lynch also holds a master’s degree from DePaul University, and brings his customers 35 years of banking expertise. Lynch’s office is located in the Aon Building at 200 E. Randolph.

Jon Aase has joined Associated as vice president, commercial banking relationship manager. Aase also works with commercial banking clients, assisting them with achieving their financial goals. Aase previously worked at Bank of the West. A graduate of Minnesota State University – Mankato, he brings more than 10 years of experience to the position. His office is located at 176 Snelling Ave. North in St. Paul.

Steve Berglund has been hired as vice president, portfolio manager on Associated’s commercial banking team. Berglund works to help existing and potential commercial banking clients with their financial needs, and helps to manage the bank’s portfolio risk. He comes to Associated from BMO Harris Bank where he worked as a relationship manager. Having earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas, Berglund brings his client’s nearly 30 years of financial industry experience. His office is located at 5353 Wayzata Blvd. in St. Louis Park.


Green Bay

Marlin Arnholz joins Associated as senior vice president, information technology risk and vendor management process manager. He is responsible for developing and implementing an IT risk management program and a vendor risk management function for Associated. He previously was with The Northern Trust Company where he developed and managed the bank’s technology compliance program. Arnholz earned his undergraduate degree from Roosevelt University and his master’s degree from Northern Illinois University. His office is currently located at 190 S. LaSalle Street in Chicago, but he will be moving to Associated’s headquarters in Green Bay, Wis.


Roger Bowman has joined Associated Bank in Hudson as vice president, senior financial consultant. In this capacity he assists clients with financial planning, retirement planning and investments. Prior to joining Associated he was a financial advisor with Bremer Investment Services. A graduate of the Wharton School of Finance and Commerce, Bowman brings his clients more than 30 years of planning and financial services. His office is located at 2200 Crest View Drive in Hudson.


Mary Coleman has joined Associated as senior vice president, operations and technology audit director. She manages the bank’s operations and information technology audits by providing risk centric assurance with respect to the effectiveness of risk management practices, governance process and internal controls systems. Prior to coming to Associated Coleman was a senior information technology manager with Fiserv. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan.

Alicia Holcomb has been hired as senior vice president, corporate risk fiduciary, investment and non-bank process manager. She works with Associated’s chief risk officer and senior business line managers in establishing policies and practices for the measurement and management of risk in the areas of market, interest rate and fiduciary. Before coming to Associated she was a senior audit manager with BMO Financial Corp. Holcomb holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Carroll University.

Anne M. Wenninger Gehring has been hired as senior vice president, managing senior counsel, and is responsible for leading Associated’s retail banking legal team. She comes to Associated from BMO Harris Bank where she was a vice president, retail compliance manager. Gehring earned her under graduate degree in economics/finance from Rutgers University and her juris doctor law degree from Marquette University. Active in the community, Gehring volunteers for the Hartford Food Pantry food collection drives.

Stevens Point

John Crandall has joined Associated Bank as senior vice president, director of default services. In this capacity he is responsible for managing all collections, foreclosures, bankruptcies, and loss mitigation for the bank. Crandall comes to Associated from Litton Loan Servicing where he was vice president of default. He is a graduate of Marquette University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in operations management.
