Associated Bank recently attended the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ 38th National Philanthropy Day celebration, where they were honored by both Jewish Family Services (JFS) and Life Navigators as partners in philanthropy. The event took place during a luncheon and educational session at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee.

National Philanthropy Day is a celebration that highlights the accomplishments and advancements to improve human welfare. Associated Bank was awarded for being an avid participant in charitable donations to advance our communities.

“We are happy to recognize Associated Bank for being so committed to furthering the mission of Jewish Family Services and truly caring about the needs of our clients,” said Sally Lyne, vice president, development & communications, Jewish Family Services. “They have an outstanding desire to promote the welfare of others and we are thankful for all that they do.”

Jewish Family Services is an organization that has provided comprehensive social services for the Milwaukee area community since 1867. The mission of JFS is to provide supportive services that will strengthen families, children and individuals throughout the life cycle, within the context of their unique needs and traditions.

“Associated Bank has been a strong supporter of Life Navigators’ events and programs,” said Vicki Wachniak, Life Navigators’ executive director. “Always thinking of those we serve, Associated Bank has sponsored Life Navigators’ consumers with disabilities to attend community wide events. In addition, Life Navigators is a regular recipient of United Way Donor Choice Giving Program designations from Associated Bank employees who give most generously."

Life Navigators works to improve the quality of life for individuals with developmental and related disabilities, their families, and the community. The organization accomplishes these goals through information, education, advocacy and life planning services.

“It is an honor to have been a part of this great event,” said Michael Finn, commercial real estate division, senior vice president and regional manager of Associated Bank. “We proudly partner with Jewish Family Services and Life Navigators to help our communities and improve the quality of life for all people.”
