Associated Bank colleagues recently came together to donate nearly $10,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to assist in Superstorm Sandy recovery efforts. An additional gift by the bank brings the total donation to the Red Cross to $18,000.

“Tens of thousands in the Northeast have been affected by Superstorm Sandy and Associated colleagues were passionate in wanting to provide support,” said Mickey Webb, Chief Operating Officer, Associated Financial Group. “We’re supporting the American Red Cross because of their proven effectiveness in delivering relief supplies, mobilizing relief workers, and managing financial resources for recovery efforts.”

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

“The American Red Cross is grateful for Associated Bank’s generous donation to help those affected by Superstorm Sandy,” said Phil Hansen, CEO for the Northern Minnesota Region of the American Red Cross. “Donations such as these help us bring comfort and hope to families in need.”
