Through Nov. 19, Associated Bank and the Associated Veterans Network (AVN), a colleague resource group that provides a network for military veterans within the company, will be recognizing and honoring veterans and active-duty military personnel across its footprint in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Illinois.
Customers, community members, colleagues, family members and friends who are veterans or active-duty military personnel are encouraged to bring in photos of themselves in uniform or other military mementos for display in the Associated Bank branch lobbies. To ensure that all items are returned, please include your name and contact information with all loaned items.
When the recognition program concludes on Nov. 19, a team of Associated Bank colleagues will select the top five branch displays from submitted photos. After, colleagues in the winning branches will present a $1,000 donation to their local American Legion Post.
“Associated Bank is honored to recognize our veterans and military personnel for their service and sacrifice,” said Todd Luft, consumer banking administration manager. “Each year we receive an outpour of support from our communities to help us with our displays.”
In addition to the displays, branch colleagues will be participating in a “Jeans for Vets” day in November to raise funds for local veteran charities.
