Earlier this summer, supporters of Jewish Family Services (JFS), a Milwaukee-based nonprofit, gathered at the Pfister Hotel for the organization’s ninth annual Luncheon of Champions.

Associated Bank was honored at the event, with a “2016 Community Hero Award” for our support of JFS and our commitment to making Milwaukee healthier and stronger. John Utz, EVP, head of corporate banking and Milwaukee market president, accepted the award on the company’s behalf.

“Associated Bank is proud to partner with Jewish Family Services to help support the Greater Milwaukee community and improve the quality of life for all people,” Utz stated. “We are aligned and guided by our shared values of kindness, righteousness and obligation to help make a difference in our community.”

Key to those shared values has been our partnership with the organization through the involvement of colleague Mike Finn, CRE senior regional manager. Finn serves on the JFS board of directors and as the connection between JFS and Associated Bank to help provide financing for affordable housing solutions. He and fellow colleagues also coordinate financial-education services to JFS families to improve their long-term money-management skills and financial stability.

By serving as the official financial partner of JFS, Associated Bank helps advance the organization’s mission of helping clients create a strong foundation for their future. Since 1867, JFS has provided supportive services that strengthen families, children and individuals of all ages. Together, we are committed to providing high-quality services that enhance the lives of individuals and families across the communities we serve.
