Associated Bank is pleased to announce that William (Bill) Bohn, executive vice president, head of Private Client and Institutional Services, has been named chairman of the board for Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin for a two-year-term.
“I’m excited to be leading this dynamic organization,” said Bohn. “Far too many of our neighbors from Milwaukee to Green Bay to Eagle River do not know where their next meal is coming from. We are committed to working together with our members and community leaders to put innovative programs in place to ensure everyone has access to healthy, nutritious food.”
Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin is a food bank that works with a network of hunger relief partners to distribute more than 18.3 million meals a year to 377,000 people in eastern Wisconsin. Their mission is to solve hunger so that one day we can have a hunger-free Wisconsin.
Bohn joined the board of directors in 2012 and most recently served as chairman-elect. He also chaired Feeding America’s recent northeast Wisconsin capital campaign which allowed the organization to open a state-of-the-art food bank to more adequately serve the growing need in that region.
“Bill Bohn is a passionate advocate for those facing hunger throughout all of eastern Wisconsin,” said Charles McLimans, president and CEO of Feeding America. “We are honored to have someone with his leadership abilities and vision lead us through this transformative time in our history as we work together to solve hunger.”
