To support the launch of Associated Bank’s financial education initiative in collaboration with Junior Achievement this month, Dennis Krakau, Associated Bank senior market leader and Junior Achievement board member, presented a $20,000 gift to Tim Greinert, Junior Achievement president.

Dennis Krakau is Associated Bank’s executive champion for the financial education initiative in the Milwaukee area. “Associated Bank is proud to extend our commitment to the well-being of our community through financial education with a donation to Junior Achievement,” said Krakau. “This gift is designated to support the advancement of financial education by supporting JA programs.”

Krakau explains that Junior Achievement offers programs that complement what students learn in their traditional studies. “It takes themes such as personal finance, economics and business to a new level – through classroom and experiential learning at events like JA BizTown and JA Finance Park,” he said. “It’s clear that students who have the benefit of Junior Achievement have a better understanding of these concepts, are better prepared and more inspired to succeed.”

“Junior Achievement appreciates the partnership with Associated Bank in supporting financial education in the Milwaukee area as well as a host of metropolitan areas and smaller communities throughout their three-state consumer footprint,” said Tim Greinert, president of Junior Achievement of Wisconsin. “This partnership has a positive impact on our students, empowering young people and adults to own their economic success.”
