The annual Business Insurance rankings of benefits specialists came out recently, and Associated Financial Group has moved up one place from last year to the number-two position in the country for benefits specialists. The rankings are based on revenue for employee benefits.
The rankings show AFG’s 5% growth in revenue from last year for employee benefits. This comes at a time when the employee benefits marketplace is changing radically and benefits specialists must adapt. Of the top ten benefits specialists in the country, three experienced a loss in revenue.
“With healthcare reform and other changes in the marketplace, employers need innovative solutions that can help them control costs, while still offering employees a strong benefits program,” said Bill Bohn, AFG’s CEO. “Our people are leaders in this area with their consulting, strategic planning and vast array of resources. We provide them with a private healthcare exchange alternative, healthcare reform tools, and seminars and webinars.”
AFG is also building on their relationships with clients to expand further into areas outside employee benefits, such as property/casualty, workers’ compensation, cyber insurance, retirement planning, estate planning – and much more.
AFG still offers the personal attention of a smaller agency
Being a larger benefits specialist has its advantages. AFG offers clients many proprietary tools and resources that differentiate it from other insurance agencies. The growth also expands relationships with crucial partners and improves AFG’s ability to negotiate favorable insurance rates and arrangements for clients.
However, AFG continues to be known for the quality that originally created the loyalty and growth – personal service. AFG offers a great depth and breadth of products and services, while providing personal attention to every client.
What clients say about AFG
Recently an independent third party, Leede Research, surveyed 600 clients in the areas of both employee benefits and business insurance. Clients’ overall satisfaction was an impressive average of 4.7 out of a 5-point scale, highlighting AFG’s ability to provide outstanding service to our clients.
Associated Financial Group’s net promoter score of 62 measures clients’ willingness to recommend them. According to “Harvard Business Review,” a score of 50 is considered excellent.
AFG’s commitment to continuous improvement means they are always looking for ways to better serve their clients and colleagues.
