Funds will benefit recovery efforts after recent severe weather in the Midwest

Associated Bank colleagues recently came together to donate more than $6,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to assist in recovery efforts after several Midwestern states were hit by devastating tornadoes and severe weather. An additional gift from the bank brings the total donation to the Red Cross to $21,000.

“Thousands in the Midwest have been affected by the tornadoes and Associated colleagues were passionate in wanting to provide support,” said Karla Losey, senior district manager, Associated Bank. “We’re supporting the American Red Cross because of their proven effectiveness in delivering relief supplies, mobilizing relief workers, and managing financial resources for recovery efforts.”

The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

“The American Red Cross is grateful for Associated Bank’s generous donation to help those affected by the devastating weather,” said Anne Fox, regional chief executive officer for the Central Illinois Chapter of the American Red Cross. “Donations such as these help us bring comfort and hope to families in need.”
