Associated Bank was recognized with the 2013 Leadership Award from Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, Inc., in partnership with the Green Bay Packers – for their involvement and support of the 25th Annual Green & Gold Gala.

The Leadership Award is presented to an individual, business, foundation or organization who has demonstrated a strong commitment to our mission of strengthening children and families while also providing funding or leadership to local nonprofits and community initiatives.

On behalf of Associated, Phil Flynn, Denis Hogan, Tim Lau and Kristy Maney accepted the award at the gala on September 13 in the Lambeau Field Atrium in recognition of their long-time investment in the community through charitable contributions, employee giving and volunteerism.

“For well over 50 years, Associated Bank has provided financial support and volunteer leadership to Family Services,” said Brent Roubal, Director of Communications & Development, Family Services. Associated has also made many significant contributions towards out capital campaigns over the years including most recent for the Willow Tree Cornerstone Child Advocacy Center. Associated’s long-time support of the Green & Gold Gala is another example of their commitment to helping children and families. In addition, Associated has provided many great volunteers over the years to serve on Family Services Board and Advisory Boards.”

Maney served as the volunteer chair of this year’s event planning committee. Further, Maney, Hogan and Lau all volunteer with organizations under the Family Services of Northeast Wisconsin, Inc., umbrella.

“Kristy did a remarkable job as the chair of the Green & Gold Gala planning committee this year,” said Roubal. “She contributed to the record breaking proceeds of $238,000 that will be used to fund programs that keep homeless youth safe, provide a healing place for abused children, and help high-risk families with young children succeed.”

This year’s event with nearly 700 guests included fine food, a silent and live auction, raffles, and entertainment by speed painter, Tim Decker.

Associated Bank was also a major sponsor of the event, along with the Green Bay Packers, Green Bay Packaging and Schneider National.
