The Associated Bank website is currently experiencing an extremely high volume of electronic traffic. This is likely due to an intentional flood of traffic, called “a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack,” intended to obstruct customers trying to use the website. This is a popular attack that is currently affecting banks across the nation.

Customers may experience a slower than usual or delayed connection when logging into our website or making transactions online. The slowdowns do NOT involve a data breach or hacking. The flood of electronic traffic is merely intended to hinder our website operations, such as retail online banking and Associated Connect for our business customers.

Bank employees are working hard to ensure you have access to online services. In addition, you can access your accounts through alternative means, including your bank’s branch offices, ATMs and call centers.

Telephone Banking (800-236-7160) and the Customer Care Center (800-236-8866) are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week for Associated customers. Customers are encouraged to visit Associated’s Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/associatedbank) and Twitter (@AssociatedBank) pages for updates.
