Associated Bank recently announced contributions totaling more than $805,000 to the United Way and partner agencies as part of the company’s annual giving campaign. The donations were raised through a combination of colleague pledges, charitable grants and fundraising across the company.

This year the campaign was fully digital. Associated Bank felt it was important to still host a campaign in a virtual and safe socially distanced manner in support of the communities we serve.

“We are incredibly proud and grateful for our colleagues’ creativity and continued generosity this year to help families and people in need access critical services such as food, shelter and more,” said Philip B. Flynn, president and CEO, Associated Bank. “Our 2020 United Way campaign participation and results highlight our commitment to the communities where we live and work.”

Some of the campaign activities included virtual rallies with United Way chapters, a volunteer photo contest and a virtual Pave the Way 5K walk/run.

Associated has a long history of investing in its communities through charitable contributions, sponsorships, workplace giving and volunteerism. This year, in addition to raising money, colleagues gave their time and talents to help a variety of organizations and causes. More than 1,200 colleagues collectively volunteered 4,100 hours during the month of October, providing $113,800 in community service value.
