Associated names four new leaders in the Milwaukee area

MILWAUKEE - August 30, 2012 - Associated has named four new leaders in the Milwaukee area.

Gwendolyn Dansby has joined Associated as vice president, community affairs/Community Reinvestment Act officer. In this capacity she is responsible for establishing and maintaining effective outreach relationships with external organizations and other partners involved in community development to ensure compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act. Dansby brings more than 25 years of financial industry experience to the role, most recently as a relationship manager with JPMorgan Chase - Foundation. She is involved in many community service organizations including chairing both Housing Resources, Inc. and the Asset Management Committee for Wisconsin Housing Preservation Corp., and serving as an executive board member for the Milwaukee Area Workforce Funding Alliance. Her office is located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee.

Sara McGinnis has been hired as vice president, compliance quality assurance team leader. In this role she leads the CQA team in reviewing Associated's loan portfolio for regulatory compliance, internal policy and procedural requirements. She was previously employed by Johnson Bank. McGinnis brings more than 25 years of experience to her role and holds the designations of Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager and Certified Anti-Money Laundering specialist. Her office is located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee.

Laureen Lehnberg has been hired as vice president, compliance education officer and is responsible for developing compliance training programs for all Associated colleagues. She brings 30 years of banking compliance experience to the role and holds the designation of Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager. She previously worked for Experis Finance. Lehnberg's office is located at 330 E. Kilbourn Ave., Milwaukee.

David Knight has joined Associated as vice president, regional real estate manager where he is responsible for evaluating and selecting bank branch and office locations. Knight comes to Associated from Colliers International where he was a property manager. His office is located at 10708 W. Janesville Rd., Hales Corners.
