CHICAGO – January 24, 2014 – John Adams, age 52, has joined Associated’s Risk Management team as risk manager, private banking. As risk manager, he performs oversight and governance for the private banking unit risk management function and develops and implements the corporate policies and risk programs. Adams is primarily responsible for developing business line risk practices, procedures and internal controls.

Adams brings 24 years of financial services experience in risk management assessment and policy development. Prior to joining Associated Bank, he served as senior risk manager with Royal Bank of Scotland and ABN AMRO.

A graduate of Saint Xavier University, Adams earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and the University of Notre Dame earning a Master’s in Business Administration degree in finance. His office is located at 525 W. Monroe St.

Russell Arnold, age 48, joins Associated Bank as vice president, corporate risk analyst. In this capacity, he manages and facilitates internal operational risk assessments and business change risk assessments for the enterprise.

Formerly, Arnold held the position of vice president, outsourcing and supplier governance, with BMO Harris Bank where he assisted in launching a new vendor management model and application. He was responsible for leading quarterly communications with regulators on project progress and vendor risk activities.

Arnold earned his bachelor’s degree in economics from Illinois State University. Professionally, he is a member of the Risk Management Association, Chicago Operational Risk Association, and Procurement Strategy Council. Arnold’s office is located at 200 E. Randolph Dr.

Nicholas Savramis, age 54, has been hired as vice president, international banker, with Associated Bank where he is responsible for new business development delivering Associated Bank’s foreign exchange payment and risk management product set.

With 31 years in the financial services, Savramis is an experienced professional in foreign exchange risk management. Prior to joining Associated Bank he served as director, corporate risk solutions with RBS Citizen Bank. In this role he marketed FX risk management and derivative products to Middle Market and MidCap commercial bank relationships.

Savramis is a graduate of Bates College having earned a bachelor’s degree in economics. His office is located at 525 W. Monroe St.
