Associated Bank's Valders, Wis. branch hosts customer reception
Bank thanks community for 100 years of patronage and service
Valders, Wis.-August 16, 2011-Associated Bank's Valders, Wis. branch located at 167 Lincoln Street will host a customer appreciation reception on Wednesday, August 24 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
The reception is being held to show appreciation to community members who assisted during the Annual Valders Community Picnic hosted by the Valders Lion's Club. The Associated Valders branch donated $1,000 to the Valders Lion's Club to help sponsor the picnic. Additionally, the reception acknowledges the ongoing celebration of the branch's 100 years of service in the Valders community.
"We are happy to be a part of such a great community and to help sponsor the Annual Valders Community Picnic, especially as the bank celebrates its 100 year anniversary of service in Valders," said Troy Freng, Associated Bank's Valders and Manitowoc market manager. "Our branch has seen the Valders community provide ongoing support to one another over the years and we are proud to show our appreciation for their generosity."
All are welcome to attend; food and drinks will be available.
The bank first opened as the Valders State Bank in 1911. It transitioned over time and was renamed Associated Bank in April 1988.
