Associated Bank awards $1,090 to the Center for Prevention of Abuse
PEORIA, Ill.-December 1, 2011-Associated Bank awarded $1,090 to the Center for Prevention of Abuse as a result of their participation in a checking account promotion that ran through this fall.
For each Center supporter that opened a checking account in the Peoria branches, Associated Bank donated $25 to the organization.
The intent of this promotion was to enable Associated Bank to direct a greater level of financial contributions to the communities they serve.
"We are thankful to the Center for Prevention of Abuse and their supporters that took advantage of this special checking promotion, which in turn, gives money to their organization," said Karla Losey, Associated Bank's SVP of Retail Banking and Regional Leader.
The mission of the Center for Prevention of Abuse is to help all people - women, men and children - to live free from violence and abuse.
Associated Bank additionally offers special financial services and programs in conjunction with local organizations and agencies to foster home ownership, economic growth and other facets of community development.
