Associated Banc-Corp continues to grow its Milwaukee area team with Bennett, Branton, Meyer, Reading-Brown, and Seamans
MILWAUKEE - October 14, 2011 - Associated Banc-Corp continues to grow with the hiring of five new leaders in the Milwaukee area.
Jason Bennett has been hired as senior vice president, director of integrated financial projects where he is responsible for leading the implementation and integration of Associated's new finance systems. He comes to Associated from Assurant, Inc., where he was the director of business intelligence and data services. Bennett is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and has more than 15 years of financial industry experience. Bennett works in Associated's office located at 330 E. Kathy Branton has rejoined Associated as assistant vice president, business banker. She is responsible for growing new business relationships for Associated by delivering business products and services that have a positive financial impact on business' capabilities to reach short term and longer term business plan goals and objectives. Branton previously worked for Associated as a market manager. She is a graduate of Lakeland College with a bachelor's degree in business, and brings more than 25 years of experience to the position. Matthew Meyer has been hired as vice president, business resumption manager and is responsible for ensuring the resilience of the company through workforce continuity planning, technology recovery planning and crisis management. He previously had a similar role as business continuity manager for M&I Bank. Meyer earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater and his master's of business administration from Cardinal Stritch University. Meyer works in Associated's office located at 330 E. Kilbourne Ave., Milwaukee.
Anthony Reading-Brown has joined Associated as vice president, associate counsel where he is responsible for conducting legal reviews. A native of England, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University College of Swansea in the United Kingdom and graduated from law school at the College of Law in the United Kingdom. He previously worked in private practice as an attorney at Shearman & Sterling in London, England, and as a vice president of loan operations at Ridgestone Bank in Brookfield. Reading-Brown works in Associated's office located at 330 E. Kilbourne Ave., Milwaukee.
Scott Seamans has been hired as vice president, portfolio risk manager. He is responsible for helping develop, implement and support a commercial risk rating system for the bank by monitoring loan portfolio metrics. Prior to joining Associated he worked as a risk analyst for M&I Bank. Seamans is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. He works in Associated's office located at 330 E. Kilbourne Ave., Milwaukee.
